It’s my original hotter Chili Seasoning (but not too hot!) A mix of six different chili peppers, dried and freshly ground in our own kitchens, create a mildly spicy, incredibly flavorful, mix of sweet and smoky without ever needing to add sugar, soybean oil, corn syrup, or any other fake or overly processed ingredients. This hot pepper mix is secret as well, but we can divulge the addition of habanero! Each packet of our Pretty Darn Hot Chili Seasoning is created from fresh chili peppers, some grown in our own garden, the rest dried, dehydrated, and powdered for our seasoning mix just days before it’s in your crock pot!
This is a hotter chili than our Original, but we didn’t want to just add heat, but really jack up the flavors as well. Enter one of our favorite peppers – Habanero! Habanero chilis are very hot, rated 100,000–350,000 on the Scoville scale, and are prized for their vibrant flavor, combining fruity and floral notes with a fiery heat. One packet of this seasoning, along with your choice of protein (ground beef or ground chuck, ground turkey, ground chicken or impossible beef) will create a eye-popping, symphony of flavor in your mouth, and possibly a bit of sweat on your brow. Keep a glass of milk nearby or add some sour cream if it gets too hot!
